Frazier RBI double.
5-1 game.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
I don't say this a helluva lot with Reds third base coaches, but that was a helluva nice read and call to send Phillips.

Is Phillips dead?

off topic(but who cares?) why do the braves get so much attention for supposedly rebuilding for their upcoming move in 2017 while having Markakis, Swisher, Bourn, and Pierzynski in the lineup with Jonny Gomes as PH option #1?
Tucker Barnhart might kick a puppy tonight.

Another one of those quality at-bats from the excellent pitch hitter Skippy.

Just as Billy needs to give up batting left-handed, Tucker might need to give up batting right-handed:

Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. -- Carl Sagan (Pale Blue Dot)
I don't know why Cowboy keeps saying LeCure's issues had nothing to do with velocity. He's throwing 89 now. It was low to mid 80s in spring training and early in Louisville. I'd say it was almost entirely due to velocity.

I missed Phillips dying; what happened? (And please don't just say "he died" )
