Another epic matchup between two longtime rivals of the NL West. The Reds send out the great David Holmberg to the mound......wait....wait. Oh this is 2015. Nevermind, just another mind numbing game in this long 2015 season.

It's so quiet in here there's an echo.
Good job by Joey stalling to keep the quick pitching Anderson out of rhythm....
Just stand in there all ticked off and hit, or walk....Anderson 1, Joe 0
Double coming next AB
Odd how Thom was excited that Holmberg had 2 outs and JUST 11 pitches and then got out of the inning on 16 pitches. The good part was the 0 runs and then the 1-2-3......but 16 pitches is a 5 2/3 outing.....no cartwheels here

I love Cowboy's reasoning for why the Mets are red hot: "attitude."
Yeah, I'm sure that's it, and has nothing to do with suddenly having solid players in their lineup and great pitching down the stretch. No, it's "attitude."
Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. -- Carl Sagan (Pale Blue Dot)
Lot of fans dressed as empty seats at the GABP.

I like the parts where Holmberg just throws balls in the dirt that the hitter never swings at.

16 pitches the first inning and 34 the second. You might have to redo the math Ironman.
Oh I knew the math....5.3 pitches per batter wasn't going to get much accomplished. He was fortunate it was 1-2-3
