walk, double, walk. Not a good start.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

No. His mechanics are all out of whack and he's having a hard time locating. When he does things perfectly, the movement is incredible but the ball isn't starting over the plate so hitters are taking. The pitch to Lucroy was hung, though.

Now Braun walks....Iglesias not sharp early.

Another single, 2-0 Milwaukee with jut one out.

An aside: on MLB network earlier, they had Pedro talking about some of the fundamentals of pitching, and what it actually means (and what causes it) when a pitcher flies open. Great stuff, from one of the greatest.

If the Reds were to go out and acquire a left fielder next year, I wouldn't mind seeing them make a run at Khris Davis.

Khrkhris Davis would hit 37 HR playing in GABP

If Boesch is that hurt why not put him on the DL?

That's an oddly specific number, but I agree.

What the heck was Lamarre chewing on? Looked like a piece of plastic.

    Thom defending himself vis-a-vis sabermetrics.

I would love to see competition between Ryan LaMarre and Neftali Soto on who could post a lower OPS over a full season.
