    8.28.15 Reds @ Brewers

Big playoff implications on the line as two of the NL Central Favorites* battle it out in the waning dog days of summer.

Pena batting 2nd? Price knows he's gone, and he's just trolling us now, isn't he?

Showcasing Shumaker didn't work, so now it's time for Pena to attract a contender in need of a PH or DH, (or back-up catcher in Pena's case).

The Reds can "jump" over the Brewers for 4th place in the division with a win tonight.

Iglesias is starting so I figure the Reds will lead for 4 or 5 innings if they can score 1 run. Then the third time through the lineup comes to roost...
99% of all numbers only tell 33% of the story so when looking at the numbers remember that numbers is plural...

Least watchable series of the season... and I haven't watched them in the last two weeks. But this series...ugh can't do it.

He'd have plenty of centuries. I don't know what that means, other than it's apparently a very good thing for a batsman to do.

Votto and Frazier both with two out singles, but they're left there.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Votto's not getting paid to protect the wicket.

Walks haunt, particularly when they are uncharacteristic. Leadoff walk to Gennett and he scores on a Lucroy double.
