That Votto is so hot right now

    3-1 Redlegs
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

That was talented....after being fooled and then some decent fortune. Coghlin would've had it. Great effort by Mr. Middletown

Madden throws a lefty to face Bruce and Votto. Completely backfires.

Even with the lefty out there, can't pitch to Votto in that spot. Have to pitch around him.

I'm sure I probably missed it, but why all the early hooks for Maddon?

Probably because the lefty was brought in to pitch to Bruce and Votto.

Interesting decision, too much reliance on lefty/lefty matchup against guys who hit lefties well.

I don't care how good or bad the Reds are or how good or bad the Cubs are, beating the Cubs is always a good time.

must be camera trickery...no way does anything backfire on a Maddon decision

By the way, the Braves are making a strong run in the first draft choice competition.

Braves have lost a bunch of games in a row and losing tonight. Have passed the Reds in the futility hunt.

Stolen base #19 by BP, I am impressed.

The game is enjoyable...but Marty, Jeff and Sheldon (briefly) have been cracking me up tonight.
