In all honesty, Skip is a very earnest and gritty player. Looks fierce at the plate, has an intense look on his face at all times, takes violent practice swings, and just generally looks like a ballplayer ought to look like to us old farts.

But he's really really bad. He can't hit, he can't field, and he's just bleeping boat anchor to the team. Write him a big check, pay him off, thank him for his service, and send him the eff home.

It's rare that you can completely attribute a loss (if they lose) to one player if that player is not a pitcher.

    Take a bow, Skipford.

Jesus Christ. Where was Skip on that triple? Covington?

I knew there was a reason I don't watch the Reds. I need a blood pressure pill.

How does a big, lumbering first baseman hit a triple to LF if you aren't playing at Forbes Field?
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

Jared Michael "Skip" "Skipford" Schumaker, you make me long for the days of Wilson Valdez.

    Honest to goodness, Wilson Valdez.

Schumaker ahead of Suarez in the lineup. I don't care if it ends up working, that is just hella dumb.

Well that was a "2015 Reds" loss if there ever was one.

Hang this one on Hoover with an assist from Schumaker.
