    When you say someone was a "great player in the Major Leagues" and then immediately follow with the adjectives "hard nosed" and "tough" I think you're lying about the first part.

    I doubt a rookie pitcher is calling his pitches. The catchers have shown some bright spots but perhaps their pitch calling isn't any good.
