I don't really know Joe Price, but I imagine he'd be a better manager than Bryan Price.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Being curious, I looked at McCutchen's walk numbers and he has 398 since 2011. i didn't realize he had that many.

Price could have had a much better career, but the Reds hurt it by making him a reliever at first, because GM Dick Wagner didn't acquire a lefty reliever for the team, Price was one of the best lefty arms the Reds developed in the '80's, but they wasted him in the pen for years. Kinda reminds you of what the Reds did with another lefty power arm.

Us older dudes, should remember Joe Price on those 80's teams. As a kid then we were a lot less critical, he was a Red, I was a fan. I remember him with long frizzy hair, lol.

Joe Price was a solid LHP for the Reds in the Dark Ages of the early 80's.

I wonder where he got his blue Reds cap. (Our local high school's colors are blue and white, and the name begins with C, so it would be pretty cool around here.)
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

Jim Day isn't invited to Billy's birthday party.

I remember something about him strengthening his arm by plunging it over and over into a barrel of rice.

Just about any sports hat store in the mall has them (and the wishbone c in most every color), at least here in greater cin. Otherwise lids.com newera.com, etc

Joe Price pitched for the Reds for seven seasons. Team continuity.

Sampson dealing. Still love the idea of him pitching medium leverage situations out of the pen starting next season.
