Damnit, I had the Skippy is garbage image all set up and everything.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Hmmm. Cardinals even let Skippy hit them. Doom, despair and agony in Cardinal Nation

Hang on. Did Skip just do something positive?
Is this like an april fools game or something? I'm not falling for it. This game is being broadcast by The Onion, right?

A beast.
Big Klu (09-10-2015)
Well from the eye of a pre-teen, he always seemed to field his position well enough and his brute strength was amazing. Crosley was small, but I once saw him hit a ball over the Sun Deck in right field. Perez was finesse, but Klu was simply brute strength. By the way, I looked up the game and it was 1956. I was 7. Why can I remember that and not what I had for lunch today?

Skip was big tonight when we needed him the most

Nice job by Sam. Should've been 1-2-3 but an E by Suarez mixed in.
The Cardinals are about to forfeit this game.
Skip and Pena have played in a combined 207 games....they are tied with me and Linda Antus in combined home runs.
Cody Stanley went to my college, so I feel like I should root for him. But he plays for the Cardinals AND had a PED suspension in the minors.
