No, no they weren't. They were pretty ridiculous for the era of .600 slugging Caminiti

Maddux 5x led innings pitched Pedro 0

    Maddux twice as many shutouts

Limiting it to a specific set of years makes it unbalanced at the outset. Pedro's best years came right after the decade ended. Let's also recall that Pedro was in the AL while Maddux was in the NL right in the prime of the long-ball era. It makes for an interesting debate...but the bottom line is that they were both flat out studs doing it in completely opposite ways. Sure would've been nice to see one in a Cincy uni.

Prior to tonight I don't recall walks being much of an issue with Lamb. But he's making up for it tonight.
7 walks in 5 starts before tonight, 6 walks tonight.

Haven't been too much of issue for him in the minors, think it's just a glitch.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

LOL. 5 innings of 3 hit shutout ball has never looked so bad. The end results are great...but talk about playing with fire.

Yeah....but gotta stay in the 90's to answer his question. Pedro didn't pitch in the AL until 1998 lol. He also was better in the AL than the NL

I was looking at careers as a whole. But yeah, if you MUST limit it to the 90's, it's not that close.
