I recall a poster saying that pitch count isn't Lamb's problem.

    I responded to that.

I wouldn't end his starting career tomorrow or Saturday, no.

But over time, if he can't lick this issue, I'd use him in the pen with so many other starting candidates for the rotation slots.

Votto leads Harper in OBP by .095 since the All-Star break? Damn I hope he continues this for a few more years. Wow!

Honestly, Votto looks like the bastard child of Ted Williams and Pete Rose. Just phenomenal.

I always love seeing Votto exact his revenge after a ball nearly takes his head off. Such sweet revenge.

Curious to see if Lamb can avod getting skewered in the 6th, lately that seems to be when the rookie SPs completely lose it.

Was it me? Cause I do think it's an issue, I'm not denying that it exists, but it's not my big concern with Lamb. I know you have a 7 innings, 7 innings, 7 innings mindset, but you have to learn to crawl before you walk. It's hard enough to get major league hitters out and that's what I most want to see Lamb do consistently. Once you've figured out how to do that, then you worry about pitch count and cutting down on waste pitches. He's clearly durable.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Johnny VanderMeer walked 8 guys in his 2nd of back to back no hitters. He also struck out 7.

    Watching these phenoms play,
    Long ago breezy, sunny Saturdays,
Only for a moment we can again live,
through all that these giant boys have to give.
