Friday September 18 2015 Reds @ somebody- lemme check- Oh wait it is the Brewers.

Will the game thread reach 4 pages.

    #Reds lineup:
    Bourgeois 8,
    Schumaker 7,
    Phillips 4,
    Frazier 5,
    Bruce 9,
    Suarez 6,
    Duvall 3,
    Barnhart 2,
    Finnegan 1

No Votto but Schumaker- that should be good for a few pages. I wonder if the suspension is being served tonight.

Joey Votto's suspension has been reduced from 2 games to 1 game. He will serve the suspension tonight (at Mil).

#Reds Billy Hamilton won’t be with the team tonight. He’s returning to Cincinnati to have his shoulder examined

    Finnegan begin again
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Other than this series and one makeup game in Washington, DC, the Reds play only playoff teams here on in. Reds have no more days off this season. Reds only have two more home series this year. The days for the 2015 Reds season are dwindling . . .

Ask for a backup first baseman ... and you shall receive.

Also: This is a key series as far as the No. 4 pick of the draft is concerned. The Brewers are only 0.5 games ahead of us in the standings. Boo on that. Need a great pitching performance from Finnegan, but need to find a way to lose this game (and eventually get swept).

The Braves have this rebuilding thing down to a science. Have you seen their record this year?

Bryan Price seems on board with losing. How else would one explain batting Skippy 2nd and Suarez 6th?

Skippy singles softly ("hit hard" according to Kelch), BP walks, and Frazier singles to left.

    1-0 Redlegs

    Khris Davis HRs. 1-1 game.

Finnegan leaves a hanger over the middle, doubled to the wall.

I wonder what it would take to get Khris Davis in LF for the Reds next season?

3 sliders in a row=not the best of ideas. Pitch selection by these rookies has been less than ideal.
