3 groundball outs for Finnegan in the 3rd (got a little help from the ump on a 3-0 fastball that looked like ball 4)
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Suarez doubles and Duvall with his first non HR hit as a Red, a double smashed off the glove of the third baseman.

    3-1 Redlegs

Suarez double, Duvall double(or error?), another run, 3-1 reds. Can anyone give me ONE reason why Duvall shouldn't play before mr Grit?

I believe that was Bruce's first opposite field homer this season. About time, hopefully he hits a few more.

Big inning here for Finnegan. Good test if he's starter material.

Ahead of Braun 0-2 and ends up walking him, I thought the first ball was borderline but the next 3 weren't close.

afwhat. that's called a foul ball. that's ridiculous. they say it hit the thing in foul territory and so it become dead. but it was going to be coming back down onto the field into a fielder's glove!

Looked like he might have just cost Finnegan a strike call with his frame/catch style as well.

Another walk by Finnegan after a strikeout of Davis.

I can see the reasoning. If the ball hit the facade of the 2nd deck of seats and rebounded onto the field, a fielder couldn't catch it and have it count as an out. That said, it sounds like the ground rules are quite confusing.
