Smith nabs a liner for an out and then gives up an 0-2 base hit to Jungmann.

Not exactly going out on a limb here, but Josh Smith is not very good at all.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

What else does Smith have to do to prove he's not good enough to be on the roster?

I think the Reds know it at this point, they just need someone to pitch these innings to end the year.

He's done after 4, Boesch in. I'd have had Smith toss at least another inning, it probably would have gone badly but it's not like that matter too much anymore.

Rather it be him versus putting too many innings on one of our young arms for the rest of this dumpster fire of a year. After the last game, time to clean out his locker.

Like Skippy, Boesch singles and also hasn't looked like complete garbage the last few games. Could have used that back in April or May.

Lind singled after Cingrani had Lind completely fooled on a slider in the dirt, so he throws him a fastball on the next pitch and he lines it for a single to center. That was dumb.

He Ks Khris Davis, but Domingo Santana homers. He is officially a Reds killer. 6-3 Brewers.

Cingrani is just not the same pitcher as in his first year.

I don't know about him anymore.

I'd give him a shot in the bullpen next season, but it's just not working for him.

Santana has already been better than Carlos Gomez for about the last two months and is likely to be better than him moving forward, and Houston may miss the playoffs completely or be forced into the wild card game. That trade could look really bad for Houston.

Todd Frazier is just the second player in #Reds history to record at least 35 HR and 40 2B, joining Frank Robinson (1962)

A Pena PH groundout tied it up at 6, and that's the score heading to the bottom of 6.
