“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

The good news about LaMarre is that he lets us know that there are worse CF options out there than Hamilton.

Milwaukee announcers just compared Phillips to Carlos Gomez because of their flare. That just seems wrong to me. Gomez is an *******. Phillips does not come across that way on or off the field.

Janish is 2/3 with an RBI single for the Orioles today

Gomez is awesome and loves the game every bit as much as Phillips. Gomez has a blast playing.

Not sure why LaMarre has become a popular whipping boy. He can't hit, which makes him just like all the other Reds bench players, but at least he plays great defense.

Yeah....Phillips has never done that. All opposing players love Phillips and his ways

I like Neftali Soto's best better than LaMarre's. I am amazed he was drafted in the second round.

Phillips was involved in one fight, which was started by Molona. I can't count all the fights Gomez started.

LaMarre is, amazingly, still outpacing Soto as a Red. And like I said, at least he plays some great outfield defense. I don't see much in him, but he starts maybe once a week. I have no reason to pick on him.

He seems like a nice kid. But gloves fall out of trees. He points out how Jockerry has failed to produce decent position players lately.

Wasn't aware Jocketty scouted, drafted, and developed LaMarre.

LaMarre at least made it to the big leagues, plenty of 2nd rounders don't.

The point is he never should have made it.
