Former Giant Tyler Sash's death has been ruled an accidental overdose of painkillers - methadone and hydrocodone.

    It'll take several months though.

Slimeball Sean Peyton says that he's ready to jump ship now that Drew Brees' career is basically over.

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...gn=Twitter_atn

Rapoport cites people familiar with Payton's thinking that said Payton is open to listening to opportunities. The talks could wind up turning into nothing, but it doesn't sound like Payton has closed the door on leaving. Of course, it may not be up to him. He has two years left on his contract in New Orleans and he's not going anywhere if the Saints were dead set against it.If the Saints and Payton agreed to part ways, New Orleans could be compensated for it. League rules allow for teams to give permission to coaches in the offseason to explore other opportunities. If the two teams could agree on compensation, the Saints would release Payton from his contract and he could sign a new deal elsewhere.

This stems from Miami media throwing around names (though their interim HC deserves to get the job if he can get this team turned around in it's attitude and effort).

This has nothing to do with anything, but the guy who tweeted this picture with the caption, "What the hell is happening" covers the NE Patriots for the Boston Herald, and I'm curious how long it takes for random sports fans with zero ties to Boston or NE to figure it out.

Does that have something to do with the Boston Bruins?

Yep, the 2016 Winter Classic is going to be at Gillette Stadium, they must have been filming a commercial or something for it. Cracked me up that a guy who covers sports for the Herald didn't put 2 and 2 together when he saw it.

He's got a long way to go before he reaches the stupidity level of Leaf.

Just hope Luck gets through tomorrow healthy. NE has no pass rush, so he should be fine there.

I'll be in Indy tonight- should be a fun game for a former New Englander like me. I hope the accent doesn't give me away.
