The silver lining is that the season will end by the end of the day this Sunday.

I feel like Reds pitchers are pretty bad at fielding their position, a lot of balls up the middle that could be knocked down. Leake didn't give enough lessons.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

For the second time the Reds get a leadoff double but fail to score and are now 1 for 9 with RISP through 4 innings.

Did Jackson use to be in the Reds farm system?

No he was drafted by the Yankees. He went to the Tigers as part of the Granderson/Scherzer/ Jackson/ Kennedy three team deal. He went to Seattle last July and to the Cubs earlier this season.

Nope. Former coveted Yankees prospect, went to Detroit in Max Scherzer/Ian Kennedy deal and stayed there until last year when Seattle picked up him for the playoff stretch. Now to Chicago.

Should have been strike 3 on Rizzo, then slices a jammed shot ground rule double

Silly me hoping for a quality start silver lining.

5-0 in bottom of fifth. Marty says its raining harder now than anytime during the game. It may be delayed.
