    Selfish RBI single.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I see Votto's got a nice start on the off season beard.

Phils host Marlins starting tomorrow. Reds at Pirates, obviously.
It could be. Reds aren't interested in playing at all. They will lose all three in Pittsburgh. Phils could win two this weekend if they play. Lots of rain predicted for the northeast. They may not play at all if the predictions come true.

Even with this terrible end to the season, the Reds keep showing that they have some fight in them.

Trevor Cahill seems like the kind of arm the Reds might bring into camp in 2016.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Looks like Votto's spot in the order will come up again in the 9th.

just now checking in. I love Lamb's ability to rack up K's, but he has got to figure a way to induce weaker contact.

That said, if Lamb strikes out the side in any game, that needs to be called a "Rack of Lamb".

    boom.

I didn't really see the 'Lorenzen to the bullpen' thing but I am starting to get more on board with it. The biggest thing though is that even a small sample size (3 games, 4 innings), he hasn't walked anybody since shifting to the pen. The walks are what really killed him this year.

I still think he can be a starter, but he has to learn how to be deceptive with his stuff. Otherwise he will just have to throw really hard out of the pen.
