Curious myself.

I started last week and it's addicting. There is a learning curve to it. My suggestion is to start in 50/50 .25 quarter leagues and stay out of multiple entry leagues. The odds are against you .

I spend a couple hundred bucks a year on football. I like it better than season long fantasy, and I only play the $25 entry million at FanDuel. I think I lost about $100-$200 last year. I seriously doubt I will ever cash in anything more than a nominal amount but it's fun.
I know a kid who plays dozens of entries a week, math guy, seems to grind out a positive ROI but no super major hits yet. I think he won a few grand in one night in baseball, if he's hit for more he hasn't told me.

I hate the commercials with a passion, so annoying.
Go Gators!
It's a scam where a few people "win" all of the money.
No thanks.
Friend of mine won $5k this year in NFL week 1. I haven't played yet but probably will soon.

I read that the day it came out - it isn't saying the sites are scams. It's saying most people are going to lose. This shouldn't be surprising.
Do you think Las Vegas is a scam?
For the site to be a scam they would have to be stealing money or not paying out legitimately somehow.

I am always wondering in the league with 1,000 people, how many of the players are bots ?

So long as each entry is owned by a real player, even mathematicians, it's not a bot in the sense that 19braves77 is talking about.
Some poker sites had actual bots.

Remember.... in gambling THERE HAS TO BE far, far more losers then winners.
