Purdue just "spanked" Florida. And Duke squeeked by Georgetown. Wiscy snuck one out against VCU.

It hurts my soul that games like Maryland-UNC are being played in December and arent conference games. I've made the mental adjustments to conference realignment during football season, but I still can't make it "real" in basketball.

It is "real". How about the Big East?

I think I grasp the Big East a little better because Xavier has been involved in all that. Maryland in the Big 10 and Syracuse in the ACC is throwing me bad.

Xavier is in the Big East? Wow. Next thing ya know Creighton and Butler will be in there as well. From my days, the Big East is the hardest one to swallow.

Can NKU go back to D-II? They lost by double digits to 0-7 NC A&T tonight.

Not really. It wasn't a blowout, but X was comfortably on cruise control the entire time. Xavier was really sloppy, too.

BYU has a history for stuff like this. Those Mormons aren't so saintly when it comes to basketball. This guy should be suspended for the season.

Monmouth continues to be awesome. They won at Georgetown tonight. No word yet on any new bench antics.

Bo Ryan announces his retirement effective immediately. First thing that comes to mind with something like this is some sort of illness. I hope that's not the case.
