I'm going to picture him sitting on a beach somewhere, earning 20 percent.

I'll always think of him as the villain in Die Hard. What a great role made out of what could have been just a genre cliche.

Reading his obituaries today, that was his first film role. How crazy is that? Guy steps onto his first movie set and delivers possibly the best villain performance ever.

They were talking about this on Mike & Mike this morning and they said that Rickman said he got the role cause he worked cheap. They were paying Bruce Willis $6M so they had to go cheap with everyone else.

Just watched a few days ago, "A Little Chaos". Rickman co-wrote it with two others, was it's main Producer, and was 3rd billing as The Sun King. Kate Winslet nailed it (as usual) as his star of the movie. I was looking forward to more screenplays from him after seeing this. Did not know about his cancer. Big loss of talent!
