DC's New 52 completely invalidated the past. It was a complete reboot.

Marvel's isn't a reboot, its essentially just a re-branding. Only real change is that parts of the Ultimate Universe have merged with the 616 universe. Everything that happened in the 616 still happened.

Spider-Man rebooted. Parts of it. and this direction they have taken him is ridiculous. And they still haven't explained what happened to MJ's baby. Which irks me. The end of Secret Wars was a reboot, kinda. And they keep ignoring aspects of it. And the current 616 Universe storylines seem to have dropped us in the middle. No explanation of why Ben Grimm is with the Guardians, or how Johnny hooked up with Medusa. or How Ganke of all characters from the Ultimate Universe made it to 616.

New 52 was just DC's 1st reboot. Flashpoint was worse.

There was an 8 month jump in time between SW and All New Marvel. They'll reveal all that backstory as time goes on.

Civil War was outstanding. Hoping they do it justice with the movie.

There is a Nigerian startup called Comic Republic is getting rave reviews for all African characters. You can DL their comics for free right now on their website. The artwork is pretty spectacular.

I'm not a big fan of the original CW love the art, Steve McNiven is awesome, but I'm just not a fan of Mark Millar.

    and you shall be caned.

Civil War was really good, although it jumped the shark a few times. What ever happened to Tigra being pregnant with Pym Skrull doppleganger?

    shark, jumped.

The biggest problem I had with it was using Tony Stark as the pro-registration guy. His history would have been the opposite.

That... is a good point. They came up with a premise, the Civil War and needed two protagonists. Cap was an obvious choice. The Pro reg group needed a big enough name. Had to be Stark even if he wasn't a great fit.

Stark shoulda been a Skrull. That would have made sense.

I haven't read it yet, but I'm not digging the spoilers I've seen for Captain America: Steve Rodgers
