I have to admit was tired Friday and did not pay attention to most of the day, but the 1 hour between 11:30- 12:30 was maybe the best basketball block that I have experience live.

That was a fitting end to the season for the Bearcats tbh. So many late leads and so many late losses with funky endings. One of those years. Idk, maybe Cincy sports are cursed lol.

I hear what your saying, but it was a chaotic situation and I think about every college kid is going for the dunk there. That's a 99+% shot and that's what they're coached to do. I wouldn't call it a really stupid decision. He was about .05 off. Just a human one that most kids will do.

I would just like to give a big shout out to the Temple head coach in the post game interview. Fran has a lot of class with the way he responded to that kid's question.

Maybe my Buckeyes will be the last BIG 10 team playing this post season.

Also, when you tell people that Xavier plays in Cincinnati, but they aren't a Cincinnati team, they get really upset about it.
Well they would considering that's a load of malarkey

Last I checked their jersey says Xavier. When it says Cincinnati, they are a Cincinnati team.

It is possible for a city's team to not have the name of the city.

See: Georgetown/GWU, Marquette, Duke, Villanova/Temple/St. Joes/Lasalle and so forth.

Do any of those cities actually have a team with the city for the school that's an actual school of note? DC doesn't. I don't even know what city Marquette is in. Raleigh/Durham doesn't. Philly doesn't. Is there a city where the city school, that's an actual real school of note, isn't the city's team?

But, really, they missed the entire point of what started that. I was talking about Cincinnati teams being cursed. Bearcats. Bengals. Reds. You know, CINCINNNATI Mascot. Then a bunch of Xavier fans chimed in that they weren't. So I simply said Xavier plays in Cincinnati, but they aren't a Cincinnati team. Then a bunch of them lost their minds. Which is fine. They felt slighted. I get it. But it sort of cracked me up.

Xavier has always been a Cincinnati school to me, Marquette a Milwaukie team, Northwestern a Chicago team, St Mary's a Bay Area team, USC is a LA team even though UC has a college there

I guess Chelsea isn't a London team, the New England Patriots aren't a Boston team, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers represent a body of water.

I think tonight proves once and for all that Xavier is a Cincinnati team.

Never could figure why people want to publicize their lack of knowledge.

I was in Milwaukee with my dad last year and pointed out Marquette 's campus. His reply: "I thought it was in Michigan". He thought Marquette University was in Marquette, MI.
