    Re: RIP Prince

Hopefully they can and will remake the film Purple Rain now. Always thought that was a great story, but the movie had such corny dialogue and bad acting save for the guy who played Prince's dad, who was a real actor I think. Ten years ago it would have been a blockbuster with Jamie Foxx (as Prince) and Will Smith (as Morris Day).

Anyway, the world lost a true musical genius today.

Dying...happens to the best of us.

Nah, Prince wouldn't fake his death like Andy Kaufman.

The Twins have turned their twitter avatar and banner purple today. What a lovely tribute.

Literally was just thinking a month or so ago that I hoped he'd do at least one more big tour. Really sucks.

So with Bowie and Prince out of the running, who is the Greatest Living Rockstar?

Has to be McCartney, right? Robert Plant? Mick? Jimmy Page? Whatever soulless demon that replaced Keith Richards back in the 70s?

Greg Allman in my opinion. Dude was a part of one of the greatest rock bands ever AND married Cher.
