Check out this statistic:65 consecutive over a 4 year stretch!The recordholder for finishing in the Top 10 in the most consecutive tournaments is Byron Nelson - 65. Yes, Nelson placed in the Top 10 in 65 PGA Tour events in row, starting with the 1942 Texas Open and continuing until the 1946 New Orleans Open.Hats off to Mr. Nelson!
Here's another eye-opener: Sam Snead is the oldest player to make the cut at a major event. He was 67 years old when he made the cut at the 1979 PGA.
