How long did it take them to get to that point? And how old were each of the cats when you introduced the new one?

The orange fellow was 3 years old and the other was 3 months. The young one kept trying to win the other one over and succeeded in about 6 weeks. Now they're best buddies.

Have you considered that they might be close now because they're conspiring against You? Just a thought.

Your older cat is more forgiving than mine. It took him a year to "get along" with the new kitten and even to this day they don't curl up like that together.

    Very cute. Thanks for posting.

That is a great picture, OldRightHander. It gives me some hope our three-year-old cat and our recent addition of a feral cat might eventually get along.
