Joe Garagiola never gets mentioned in best baseball broadcaster lists but he'd be in my top 10 if not top 5.

He reminds me of my favorite time in baseball, so I have to give him high marks as well.

I remember Joe Garagiola once said (paraphrasing), "Most major-league baseball players were the best player in their town growing up. I wasn't even the best catcher on my block."

(Garagiola grew up in the same neighborhood in St. Louis with Yogi Berra.)

My all-time favorite Joe Garagiolo line was about Sean Casey:

"He runs like he has suction cups on his feet."

I want hi to finish, too, However he's batting, so he will be out there at 100 pitches. I want him to stay healthy.

Billy with an RBI infield single to score Geno, who had led off the ninth with a double!

    13-0 Redlegs.

100 is just a number. He has had a very easy night. He hasn't had any difficult or stressful innings.
