I would have had Cozart DH and played suarez at 3rd, but that's just me. I don't see Ivan's great strengths, I guess.

I agree that probably would have been the best lineup, but I think they wanted to bring back Cozart slowly and give him a complete night off. (Of course, that plan went down the tube when Peraza got hurt and Zack had to come in as a substitute.)

If anybody is still up and cares, the MLB network is now showing the Angels feed of the game.

Bob Bailey was traded to the Red Sox and Mike Lum is on the DL.

Last two games have been brutal. Outscored 20-4 (so far) with starting pitchers going 3.2innings, allowing13 hits and allowing 11 runs. So much for the greatest comeback in the history of baseball .

They just randomly blacked out MLB Network now in the middle of this program. Ridiculous.

This team is back to being less than competitive against teams that are not much better than them. Or are they?

It's cool. The game wasn't on FS Ohio, FS1, ESPN (any of them) or MLB Network. The only place it was on TV was in California. But, for some stroke of genius reason, it's blacked out in Cincinnati even if you pay for MLB.tv.

Weren't blackouts created so I would be forced to buy a ticket to an in-market game? And then extended so I'd be forced to buy a local TV station to get the game?

What were my options here? Drive to California? I'm honestly furious about this, even though I shouldn't be. I understand there's so much crap going on in the world that THIS of all things shouldn't bother me, but I seriously just wanted to break everything tonight because I couldn't watch the Reds get their brains beat in by the Angels.

I think we're pretty lucky, when I was a kid very few games were televised.

Me too. Late night game on the west coast between two poor teams that was a blowout early. I'm surprised that there was more than 20 posts.
