I don't have a problem with that, though I think I would prefer Geno batting 2nd, and Selsky batting 7th.

One out walk to Josh Bell, Andrew McCutchen RBI double to make it 1-0 Pirates.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

After two hitters - starting might not have the best idea

Can we go back on a delay?

Polanco 2 run HR. 3-0 Pirates after four batters. Not the start RobSteve was looking for.

This is what happens when you have zero command of any pitch.

Yeah and I'm not sure why anyone was counting on a magical fix to end the season given Stephenson's AAA struggles. He still needs a lot of work.

Stephenson's fastball is quite good, he threw a number of them to the second batter who fouled them off. They all seemed to be strikes.

Sometimes it does move outside to the left handed hitter, but it's a good pitch.

The walk, double and homer were all on off speed pitches.

I wish he would stick with the fastball early and throw the secondary pitch less often. He has a good moving fastball and, with some exceptions, can control it pretty well.

Too much messing around with secondary stuff that inning IMO. Early in the game, just throw your best pitch with very limited exception.

Votto single, Duvall double, DatDude single all with two outs to make it 3-1.
