Someone on Twitter last night said the Cubs had nothing to play for but they looked like they were playing like they had everything to play for. The Cardinals have everything to play for and they were playing like they have nothing to play for.

Reds need two to reach base and no double plays to give Selsky a chance for 6/6

Having the Reds be the reason they knock the Cardinals out of the WC spot would be a great way to end the year. I wish the Mets and Giants would get their heads together and win. The Giants have completed melted down like the used to do in the 70's with their June swoons.

I like Selsky for the bench too but he is not looking better than Schebler other than he is having a great night. I just wish they would carry 12 pitchers next year and use relievers to go multiple innings rather than have a terrible 13th pitcher.

I automatically think "Bill Brasky" every time they say Steve Selsky.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet:

Steve Selsky becomes 1st Reds rookie since Wade Rowden (July,9, '86) to get 5 hits in a game.

Holy Moly! What a butt whoopin'! Duvall and Selsky had great nights. Duvall has been just been so much better than I ever expected this season. Let's hope he continue this in 2017 and beyond. Maybe we have something in Selsky? You never know.
Also not forget Phillips with a four hit night. He's been just fine overall this season.
