I really don't want to see Dejesus getting major playing time for the "Priceless" 2017 Reds.
    Probably just a day off.

Keyvius serves up a meatball sub to Fatt Adams and it's 10-5

    Reds Media Relations @RedsPR
Reds pitchers have allowed at least 5 HR in a game for the ninth time, extending their Major League single-season record.
Rounding third and heading for home...

Guessing this is probable Sampson's last appearance in a Reds uniform. Enjoy playing ball in AAA Kevious, better than working for a living.

Bryan Price finally realizes that Schebler, favoring his leg in an apparent hamstring tweak, should come out for a pinch runner.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

And the Reds lose their 91st game. Worst they can finish is 66-96. Best they could finish is 71-91. Either way, not good.

Yep -- and he couldn't really get it where he wanted it. I don't know how many times he tried for the glove-side corner and missed. He absolutely has to be able to hit that corner some of the time. And where was the curveball? Looked to me like they may have shelved it last night for some reason. With just the two pitches and without good fastball command, it did seem like he was on borrowed time.

It's clear the big 2 starting prospects have a ways to go yet.
