IMO that's a great example on when RBI's do mean a lot. Obviously he hit a lot of Homers with the bases empty and did not with runners on base.

SF play the Dodgers this weekend. Will the Dodgers rest starters or play them in order to knock their arch rivals from playoff contention?

They'd better play to win. You definitely don't want to potentially face arms SF has in playoffs.

    What was Votto's injury?

Found it: hit in face with throw and bleeding but okay to run off field

Yeah Joey got drilled in the chin. That's going to need 7 stitches. He'll be back tomorrow

If Cingrani hadn't blown that 2 out 4-1 lead against the Cards, they would really be in trouble.

Schebler legs out a swinging bunt to tie it. At least I think it was. Have screen split on CIN-MIA game.

    Yup, pretty much.

Wood walks Matt Carpenter, I have a feeling this one could end this inning.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Gutsy by Schebler, clearly tweeked hammy halfway down line and kept it together for the tie.

It just had to be Molina. Ugh.
