    3/10/17 Reds host Rockies

Cody Reed is on the mound tonight. He is facing an, essentially, minor-league lineup.

Pat Valaika is in the lineup for Colorado, younger brother of Chris Valaika.

Two batters, two shaky fielding plays.

Cody Reed is extremely superstitious. He thinks walks are bad luck.

Reed walks Valaika. 2 on, 1 out.

Two-run lightning bolt over the head of Schebler on an 0-2 pitch. A lefty hitter at that.

Pop to short. Fly ball to left. Top of the first is over.

    Reds lineup:

    Peraza
    Renda
    Schebler
    Raburn
    Winker
    Herrera
    Kivlehan
    Brantly
    Iribarren

Reds with 5 batters hitting over .400 for the spring.

    Peraza with a leadoff single.
    Renda K's.
Base on balls to Scott Schebler.

Pickoff throw to second lands in center. Runners on second and third.

Grounder to third scores Peraza. 2-down.

Winker whiffs. Reds trail 2-1 after one.

Schebler isn't a CFer and I wish the Reds would stop acting like he can be.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Cody Reed 3 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 4 SO, 1 HB. Said he threw his change more in 3 IP than any game last year.

Dilson Herrera continues to crush baseballs. This time, though, Alexi Amarista makes an amazing catch. Herrera's been crushing
