He's worked extremely hard on his defense and is making plays this year that he wasn't making at this time a year ago. I see him only continuing to get better.

What would DET and SF give to have Suarez and Duvall back right now?

I'm pretty much the same. I'm theoretically open to trading anyone, but whenever I see things like "Suarez could be dangled by the Reds this summer" I cringe. Do not want. He's gonna be good.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

He's not going anywhere until Senzel is ready, and maybe not even then. I'm still not convinced Senzel won't end up at 2nd.

Nope. When TimeWarner was running things, they had it. But since Spectrum took over, no alternate channel. I called them when the Reds were preempted by the Cavaliers last Friday, and after talking with them for a half-hour, they finally told me there was no alternate feed, and there was nothing they could do. (Even though the program guide says it's supposed to be Reds baseball.)

Reds will have some decisions to make when Senzel is ready.

    Depth is fantastic.

Amir looks cool as a cucumber on the mound.

Was thinking since Peraza likes swinging at everything, maybe batting him 7th or 9th would be better for now. Move Joey to the 2 hole so he sees more fastballs and takes a few pitches so Billy can run. Move Suarez to the 3 hole. Just a thought.

Garrett with strikeout #3, gets Freese on the changeup on a full count and a RISP. Nicely done.

He's gotta start taking some pitches. Even if it's a guess every now and then.

They still need to get that extra year of control though.
