Completely inexcusable Arroyo is starting for the Reds

I just hope they are going to end this Bronson experiment soon and not drag this out like Simon last year. You were short handed you tried it. It is obvious it is over and it is time to move on not give up every 5th day

It hurts watching BA pitch, ruining the fond memories that I had of him. I mean I would rather see Gregg back in the bullpen again before another start in the rotation. One of my fav all time reds but his time is done.

Bronson's era at 12.86 now. Does the offense have 13 runs in them tonight?

Bronson has allowed 4 runs in three innings on the mound, and somehow LOWERED his ERA. SMH.

Reds offense has been clicking. Plenty of time left. If they can hold them.

This Arroyo thing - I don't see the point of it right now. There's no longer a desperate need for a stop gap. There's Romano, Reed, perhaps soon Stephenson.

I understand their argument for available stop gaps before the season. But if you ask Williams/Price why Arroyo is in the rotation not sure there's a good answer at this point.
I have to think with Rookie on the DL if, big if, Bronson gets another start I have to think Reed is not far behind picking up that spot in the rotation. Feldman, Finnegan, Amir, Cody, and Romano. A lot of future there for whatever period of time we get them in the rotation. If you are only going to get a few poor innings out of Bronson I would rather see that out of a young guy.

When you bring back a fan favorite like this, it can sometimes put you in a tough spot.

So now they have young pitchers about ready to fill the spot; you don't really need a stop gap fifth starter; Arroyo isn't doing well; he isn't the future.

Yet he's beloved, the beat writers and announcers obviously love him, some fans love him, he's a good story, it's tough to pull the plug.

Interested to see how the Reds handle this.

Bronson blowing that curveball past em at 71 mph and gets out of the 4th. ERA down to 11.25

Can Darius Rucker throw harder than Bronson?

Bronson is this years Alfredo Simon. We really don't need him trying to show the young pitchers how to lose.
Reds fan since 1968 win or lose.

That does look like the rotation to which we are headed. At this point, I'd like to get there ASAP.
