Just getting Davis up is a win for the Reds. Been a tough couple games.

    We need a winning streak..

To prevent the fanbase from bailin' out like rats off a sinkin' ship.

Votto currently sporting a .239/.333/.567 line. Marty's still gonna say he's struggling though, right?
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

His batting average is barely better than it was last April, so I assume so.

Marty (and Thom) would be sure to point out that he's hitting and the Reds are losing, not clutch, not a leader..blah blah.

It's late and I only had radio, but the analysis from the MLB guy was a Davis
Had great stuff but needed a "two seamer" to be effective. They were surprised that Price and didn't know this and said using pitchers who weren't ready and failing to develop starters would doom the Reds for a decade. Comvemtial wisdom away from Cindy is not wel taken.
