    Nicely done Scooter
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Five Scott Feldman type starters and they're probably in first place.

Ok, he's not exactly Cy Young, but Bronson keeps the Reds in the game - and goes at least 5 again. When all the other pitchers have gone down with boo boo after boo boo, he trots out every fifth day, and while its not pretty, it's not terrible.

The modern fan is not into guys who trot out every fifth day- they're into guys who throw 97 and are constantly on the dl.

He has a 6.62 ERA. That seems pretty terrible to me.
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

Billy Hamilton kills me at the plate. He swings at every thing low.

Runners on second and third and a strikeout... Not getting any clutch hits today with two outs.

It's not the ERA that's important in this case- its that he keeps them close everytime he goes out - I'm not saying he's perfect, but its not like Alfredo Simon last year who would let the team be down 9-2 in the 4th inning. I just appreciate the fact that he's still competing - of course I wish he was Bronson circa 2010 but that won't happen.
