I know you're being facetious. And I've toned it down lately. (I'm not even upset tonight. I just don't take them all that seriously anymore, win or lose.)

They're not really my thing, either. But I do think they are better than the camo jerseys and the desert camo caps.

I'm not a big fan of the Stars & Stripes caps either, though I did buy a 2010 model Reds cap when they went on clearance after the 2011 models were released. (The main reason was because the 2010 model strongly resembles the Reds' 1958 home cap--solid white crown with red bill. The only difference is the wishbone C is red, white, & blue instead of just red.)

What they really ought to do is go back to playing doubleheaders on Memorial Day.

So I guess the Joe Nuxhall Star of the Game is Adam Duvall, who was 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a solo homer to account for both Reds runs. (I don't want to give the Montgomery Inn gift card to a Blue Jay, since he wouldn't be able to use it anyway.)

I swear on my life, I had no idea Zach Buchanon was on the Reds. I'll look up when that occurred.

“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Let's hope he's better at pitching than he is at knowing where his dog is.

I am never the one to come out and say this but after watching the BlueJays play our Reds I really am starting to wonder if they are stealing our signs. They destroy Bronson every time they face him and score at well againist us.I know our pitchers aren't that bad or every team would do it.They had the bases loaded every other inning tonight and scored at will. If they don't know our signs then what else could it be?

First time since 1929 that two relief pitchers gave up 10 hits in a game.

I so wish they kept track of the pitch counts in these old boxes. I wonder how many pitches Mr. Frankhouse threw in this complete game, 17 hits allowed effort.
