It's throwback night at Petco. Tonight's theme 1976 with Randy Jones going for the CG.

Scooter grounds out and the Reds have lost 5 straight.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Tonight's Joe Nuxhall Star of the Game is Padres lefty Clayton Richard, who took a shutout into the ninth inning and pitched 8⅔ innings allowing 2 runs on 8 hits with 6 K's to earn the win.

Sweeping the Cards is a distant memory.

The Reds organization should just go ahead and rename the team the "Cincinnati Rebuilders."

Randy Jones was a Red killer back then. Apparently Clayton Richard is too. It's getting hot now. But its nice and cool in the cellar.
