Ugh. Peraza DP back to the pitcher, end of inning.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Maybe he's rooting for the draft pick. That was considered acceptable behavior around here last year.

Ryu has been on base twice today. Unacceptable.

The high draft choices of today are the wins of tomorrow.

I don't necessarily subscribe to that belief, but OK.

I am headed back there now. Just doing some dusting to get the room ready. If they are gonna lose, lose enough to make it worth it.
Well, that's what those words mean. He was here. If they don't keep him, he will have been lost/subtracted. I headed out the door today with two shoes on my feet. If I don't return with them, I have lost them. If I do return with them, I haven't added them. ---M2

I don't know, Reds did pretty well that year Chris Gruler and Jeremy Sowers had those 20-win seasons.

Brice is starting to remind me of Caleb Cothem. Gets some outs first time around the league, but lack of K's eventually catches up with him.

Currently, they hold the #4 position.

Lack of strikeouts hasn't been a problem with Brice in the minor leagues and he has much better stuff than Cotham. I don't see it.

Yeah and the Reds teams that led to those draft selections were designed with the idea of winning. At least there's a plan here.
