The Reds are stubborn as hell leaving dudes with 7.00ish ERAs up. I'm fine with taking lumps but within reason.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Welsh makes a nice point there, but the hackin' Redlegs aren't buying it.

They were criticized for sending him down now they are being criticized for keeping him up here. I'm sure the Reds would like to know what to do

Well, a small minority criticized sending him down. I simply don't see why a guy with a 7.00 ERA who can't put away Trevor Plouffe shouldn't be trying to get out teams full of Trevor Plouffe's in AAA.

Jose Havoc with an infield single, stolen base, and advances to third on a passed ball.

Contact play fails again, Peraza out at home. Why did they go back to doing this?

Was that the contact play or a TOOTBLAN?

When is the last time anyone can recall the contact play being a success for the Reds? I cannot remember one in a long, long time.

Why are we walking guys hitting .188 and .214? Walks will haunt, but those types of walks will kill ya.
