    I'm surprised the Reds did not pick up Fister and try to let him pitch. I mean they do not have anything to lose at this point. I'm sure he can do better than Jerry Reuss circa 1987.

    I was excited when the Reds picked Reuss up, but he was a major disappointment.

    Didn't Votto have a long streak of games on base earlier this year? How many games this year has he not reached base?
