My bad! I posted this too soon. I forgot the Brewers look like a team that can actually win the World Series against the Reds, if the brewers do make the playoffs though they will be eliminated in three games.

I've heard rumors. Could it be? Is Billy-ball back?

If he gets his OPS up to .650, sell high.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I keep coming back to the question: If his thumb was hampering him so badly that it was throwing the entire team off, why didn't they DL him?

Not a unique situation. I hated when they'd have a hobbled Phillips in the lineup as well.

Or at least sit him down for a few days. That's why you have players on the bench.

Joey didn't know what to do there. He doesn't pop out to the infield very much.

It just keeps going back to this team really has a hard time diagnosing injuries. They consistently under-estimate the injury, impact, and recovery time. And it's getting very, very old.

Brewers are going to keep raking. Reds better be prepared to turn in a few more good trips to the plate.
Rounding third and heading for home...

Thom loves him some Craig Counsell.
