    Yelich 3 run HR. Great.

    3-1 Miami.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

This team gives up more 0-2 hits than any Reds team I can remember.
Roll it up there for Pete's sake ...

I agree. Terrible 0-2 pitch. You can't throw it high. Bounce it. No. The Reds needs 15 pitchers on their staff.

I live down here in FL so I've been able to watch all these games (Marlins broadcast in Gainesville).

First look I've had at them in the 2nd half. Not quite the treat I thought it would be.
“The crows seem to be calling my name,” thought Caw.

This Marlins pitcher is no Phi Betta Kappa either.

Duvall homered to make it a 3-2 game but that's it for the inning.

Marlins do have a nice lineup. Imagine this team with a rotation anchored by the late Jose Fernandéz and one more decent arm. Would run away with their division.

Nah they'd still be behind Washington, but they might be in the wild card mix. But that was the case last year as well and their big deadline move was Andrew Cashner. And the offseason moves were Volquez and Straily. They lack both the prospects and/or the willingness to spend big money to legitimately put together a strong rotation.

Adleman with a Straily inning, relying on the defense to track down hard hit fly balls.
