2nd walk by Romano to start the 2nd, on four pitches. No bueno. Now a double.

3-0 Padres on a sac fly.

“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Actually enjoyed Brantley talking about the young pitchers there

    Harang in the house!

Leadoff single for Winker in the second.

Romano gets out of the 2nd allowing 1 run, but is really struggling with control.

Winker looks like a poor mans Votto to me. I hope they get Senzel up soon next season. I would like to see those three hitting back to back to back.

I thought Brantley was right on the money.

Romano's one good game this year he seemed so relaxed. Tonight, he came out like a house on fire. Working fast, overthrowing.

He seemed a little better as the second inning progressed. Hope it carries over. Take your time, concentrate on executing pitches.

Bases loaded no out. Price can't call for Sac Bunt here. I bet steam is coming out of his ears over that.

His starts against the Rockies and the Marlins were both good.
