    Votto robbed of extra bases.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

So you're calling for a "legitimate" backup CF?

Reds get a hit but that is all. No score going to the 2nd.

Kiv was a Rutgers defensive back. He can't be slow. You seem to hate his defense, I haven't seen it to be particularly bad.

Clearly you haven't watched much Rutgers football

He often takes some really bad routes even when he does make a catch. I've seen him nearly outrun several balls. He's obviously athletic, but athleticism alone doesn't make you a good outfielder.

Castillo riggles out of a walk jam and we still knotted at zero.

He was an infielder originally, a Duvall-like transition. If the Reds think Kiv can play the outfield, it's worth a try, I think he can be a valuable bench power hitter particularly against LHP.

I don't think he's a very good outfielder, but I still agree with this statement.

If he were a solid fielder AND had legit power, he'd be starter. In reality, he's a flawed but solid backup. Nothing wrong with that, could use another one or two.

Actually, the Scarlet Knights won three bowl games during Kivlehan's time at Rutgers.

Duvall, Hamilton, Schebler, Winker, Kivlehan is a nice outfield group for next season, assuming none are traded.
