2012 and 2013 were bought and paid and never happened... One final four since 1986 shows a pretty atrocious ROI for the richest bball program in the NCAA

It's a professional team in an NBA arena masquerading as a college program in an NBA size market with no other major sports teams. Don't confuse the ability to pay blue blood salaries with being a true blue blood.

Wait, so you claim 2012 and 2013 were paid and never happened (both incorrect) but then claim only one FF (also incorrect) is a terrible return on investment? You're cross contaminating your argument and based on it then you're essentially saying that Louisville only won a National Title and made another Final Four because an assistant coach bought some hookers, which looks like a pretty solid ROI to me.

The NCAA can wipe the books because a coach paid for some prostitutes but that doesn't change the fact that Louisville accomplished those feats.

2012-2013 were tainted and a disgrace. Did the Fab Five happen too? Regardless, one legit final four for the #1 revenue program since 1986 is kind of shocking. Lville pays top 3 dollars for HC, but would say they are a quasi-blue blood at best (between #6-10 somewhere). I think this is a mistake for Mack and a $$$ move and ceding Big East caoching supremecy to Jay Wright for the next 5-10 years.

All 4 #1 seeds in the women's bball tournament made the final four. Of the 2.73 million brackets entered into the ESPN contest, 2.69 million are still alive.

Xavier picks assistant coach Travis Steele. No surprise there.

    Well this isn't good

Purdue player Isaac Haas accused of infecting partner with STD, according to lawsuit

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Former Purdue basketball standout Isaac Haas infected his former partner with an incurable STD, and she's not the first one he's infected, a civil lawsuit alleges.

Alyssa Chambers filed a $1 million civil lawsuit in Tippecanoe Circuit Court Tuesday accusing Haas of lying to her about having a sexually transmitted disease — and subsequently, infecting her.

The Rice Commission report has been released. Among its recommendations are to end the 1 and done rule, a lifetime ban to rule-breakers and to allow both HS and college players to sign with an agent before deciding on whether to enter the draft.
