Yeah him and Jeff Conine were HUGE Favorites of Marty and Thom.
Young Strong Bodies and all that jazz.

Its awful hard to blame the Bullpen when ya don't have any starters that can't go 5 innings without throwin' 90 pitches.

Why is Wood allowed to continue to be on this team after last week or even before that is how much of a joke this FO can still be. They allow Price to make the decision to keep him when you do have other options available. Waste of a 40 man spot.
We gotta remember the Reds are rebuilding.

Guys like Wood are just fillers right now, we need arms to eat innings. Arms that really don't matter going forward.

Somebody's gotta take the lumps til we can win again, let it be guys that don't figure into long term plans.

Reds pitchers are horrible with that. In fact those "waste" pitches aren't even close enough to the strike zone to get a batter tempted. Then after wasting a couple pitches our pitchers invraiably lose their ability to find the strike zone. I don't know if they're being coached to do this but if so it oughta stop

“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
