In the interest of fairness, tonight was certainly not the night where Castillo earned his half a win (more than straily) at the plate.

    Rivero is Chapman-lite.

Felipe Rivero is good, Reds are bad again.

Bad call on the final pitch. Dinner reservations at Jeff Ruby's I guess. Oh well.

Chapman lost his Closer's job. Alonso had an 11th-inning, game-winning HR against him last night. Great win for the Mariners. But, yes, he is Chapman-light.

Michael Lorenzen being 8-2 while Luis Castillo is 2-7 is yet another nail in the coffin for pitcher wins and losses.

Tonight's Joe Nuxhall Star of the Game is Pirates RHP Gerrit Cole, who pitched 7 innings allowing no runs on 5 hits with 6 K's to get the win, and also scored the game's only run with a solo HR.

I had to go to the Blue Ash Food & Music Festival with family but listened to the game on my walkman radio.
Castillo pitched a great game it's a shame he couldn't get a win.

Well folks did say Castillo reminded them of Cueto. Suppose we better give him no run support too. Tough loss for him.
