So he's mad because he didn't get granted timeout.

Maybe someone should explain to him that you aren't automatically granted time when you ask for it.

Frankly I think it's awesome that the ump DIDN'T grant him time.

I'm so sick of seeing batters ask for time and GET IT granted to them after the pitcher starts their windup. It's crap and I still partly blame that for Cueto's 2012 NLDS injury.

Wow. That's the maddest I've ever seen McCutchen get in his 9 year career. I guess that what happens when you're in a 0-14 slump and in one of the worst months of his career.

Oh well. The Bucs need a spark.

Mahle will probably go five--no more.

Mahle continuing the tradition of young Reds starters struggling to throw strikes at the MLB level.

Assuming he gets out of this 4th inning jam I'd be shocked if he didn't go for the 5th.

K's Taillon to end the fourth.

The walks are a bit surprising but I wouldn't pull him yet. Manageable pitch count and he's only given up 1 really hard hit ball.

Probably he got "messed up in the head" by moving to the bigs. Could have remained a great AAA pitcher, but the Reds broke up his rhythm. Now he's probably scarred for life. LOL, just paraphrasing and exaggerating some posts around here, just kidding around.

Kid is doing fine, nice K to finish the inning, nice easy motion, hopefully will be in the rotation for years to come. Will refine things as time goes forward.
